Before we talk

A few good
questions.

What does a health insurance brokerage do?

We help you compare available coverage options and understand their costs and benefits. Stalwart is a brokerage, rather than the insurance company issuing your policy.

Can you help if I already have insurance?

Yes. We can review what you currently have and discuss whether available alternatives fit your needs. Keep your current coverage in place while reviewing any potential change.

What should I bring to a coverage review?

Your ZIP code, ages of those needing coverage, preferred doctors, prescriptions, and any current plan details are a helpful start. Your advisor will explain what else is needed.

Are private plans and Marketplace plans the same?

No. Eligibility, benefits, enrollment rules, and protections can differ. Some private plans use medical underwriting and have limitations or exclusions. We’ll explain the details of the options you’re considering.

Can I enroll at any time?

It depends on the coverage. Marketplace enrollment generally requires an open enrollment period or a qualifying life event. Other options may have different availability and eligibility requirements.
